I happen to love backless dresses CTB. I think that is a lot sexier than low cut in the front. Very sexy and elegant at the same time!

remember the "what color is that Velvet Dress" thread? that pic is almost exactly what I described in my reply.

I love dresses like this.....so sexy without being trashy. I love the coverage in front, but the side panels and back that show some but not too much skin.   ( I think this is a run on sentence but who cares :D!)

I worked in the store, Trash and Vaudeville in the East Village of New York. Not sure what they have now but back then, boy could I show you something trashy!!! :D  Our model was a beautiful girl with very pale skin and jet black hair named Raphael. She was in a band called the Cycle Sluts from Hell  :D :D :D!! She was a very sweet girl though. I liked her very much.

You actually remember them , CTB?!  :D  Raphael was very sweet and quite a beautiful raven haired girl  ;)

Not to go off topic but all of our employees were musicians. Our shipping guy John was a Brit who used to be in a rockabilly band called the Poor Boys. The other guy who was in shipping was in another band that did very well but for the life of me, I can't remember their  name!  It was great to work in place where my boss had pink hair and everyone sported a cool tattoo  ;D All the musicians used to shop there. It was called "rock and roll to wear".

I've known so many people in the alternative rock scene who stay really pale. :D My sister for one. :D

you rang?

SG: there wasn't a lot of good rock coming out of NYC at that time, but Circus of Power, Cycle Sluts From Hell and Warrior Soul (I think they were from NYC) definitely got the job done.

Perhaps I should have said 'subtly trashy', Hugo.  :)

This is exactly the kind of stuff we sold  :D :D  It may be a Trash and Vaudeville dress. The owner's wife also had her own line and sold to a lot of smaller boutiques across the country. It brings back a lot of memories!  Yes, CTB, those were great bands.
