God Bless America.

While I would've enjoyed a well made movie based on the same idea (an average bloke on the end of his string going on a killing spree against obnoxious, mean, impolite and bigoted people), the execution lacked charisma and charm. It wasn't as clever or funny as the writer/director probably thought it was, nor was it morally anchored, and most of all it was plain boring. A missed opportunity.

Watched a foreign movie the other night called 'The Secret in Their Eyes'. Well worth a watch, very good film.

But as I said the other day 'Take Shelter' is the best film I've seen in a long time. Cant recommend it enough!

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Apart from the epilogue it is pretty cool. The action is nice, the characters deliver. Old fashioned high tech action goodness.

POSSIBLE SPOILER but definitely interesting theory:

I can't be sure, but there were at least two minor side characters, that looked suspiciously like Simon Pegg in prosthetic make up, (one of them stood in the shadows throughout his scene by the way) and Pegg's character goes on and on about prosthetic disguises early on in the movie, but doesn't get to wear any in the role. Could it be him? I think so. He did stuff like this earlier...

me too. I took my son to see it - his first movie in a theater. It was a bit long for him, but I really loved it! And the soundtrack seemed a little familiar and when I looked it up afterwards, some of it was composed by Mumford and Sons. I can't believe I didn't know it before hand because I love Mumford and Sons.

I was disappointed by that. I thought it had nothing special. Sure, Tilda Swinton is great as always.

cyberbully- I just watched a random movie on youtube and at first it seemed like some silly teenager movie, but it was not. It was serious and very depressing. I even cried

^my sister watched that one. It's sad.

I last watched The Artist, which I enjoyed. I can't believe a movie like that became so successful in this day and age.

Backyard Wedding. Skipped Full Metal Jacket to watch it. All because she starred in it:

seriously, I watched whole sections of it with the sound off.  <3
