You all have been watching some of my all-time favorite films - Almost Famous, Rudy, Apollo 13!!

I watched most of We Bought a Zoo and it was much better than I had judged it to be. I did miss the first 30 mins. so maybe that part was not so good?

Then I watched The Descendants. While it was not a bad film, I don't get all the acclaim it received and the Academy Awards.

Moonrise Kingdom - Pretty good, but not my favorite Wes Anderson movie.

The Elephant Man - Probably the most mainstream thing David Lynch has done (next to Dune). I loved it. For the most part, it doesn't feel like a Lynch movie but at the same time it does, just more toned down. A lot of things in it actually reminded me of his first film, Eraserhead.
