There's only one Return and it ain't of the King, it's of the Jedi. ;)

Nice.

It's a quote from Clerks II.

The opposite happened to me with TDKR...

I can see that. There are a number of things that you could point out as flaws and I would not be able to defend them but I found myself not worrying about them as I watched it this time. On a third or fourth viewing some of the plot holes could start to irk me but overall the Nolan Trilogy is still miles ahead of the other superhero movies that have come out in the last 12 years in my opinion.

That it is. I'm actually almost as much of a fan of LOTR as I am of the original SW Trilogy but I love the way Smith bashed LOTR in Clerks II.

^Did you like Legends of the Fall? I still love it, melodrama and all. I always think of All Quiet on The Western Front with that one and happen to be reading that w/ my World Lit students this semester.

Kind Hearts and Coronets. Not a bad movie. Young Alec Guiness was really cute (and played eight different characters! :o ).

If you liked that you should watch some of the other Alec Guinness Ealing comedies.  The Ladykillers and The Lavender Hill Mob are two of my favourite films of all time.

I'm impressed.  :) Most dismiss it as a "chick flick" movie. Hey, wait a minute - there are some well done "chick flicks" out there. Maybe I should start a thread about that. Maybe there is one already - The Chick Flick thread!  ;)

Still haven't seen The Boy in the Striped Pajamas - but I've heard lots of good about it.

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.
I thought it was really cute, despite the glaring cultural stereotypical characters.
