OK, I am mad.

Because I am such an Edge fashion connoisseur, I have uncovered a fraud!!!

I was so excited to get the Chicago lithograph because it was my very first show.  However, the picture WAS NOT TAKEN IN CHICAGO AT ALL , let alone night one or two, and I have proof.

Note Edge's pants.  Not the paint splattered variety but the ones with the "stuff' on the knees.  These first surfaced in, I believe, Atlanta in October if I remember correctly.

Here is a picture of what Edge wore during Chicago 1 - I took it myself and there is no mistaking which night this was.  Note the paint splattered jeans and especially the non-plaid shirt he wore a lot in Europe and at the beginning of the North American leg.



Chicago 2 I was even closer, and it's the same jeans, and this is the night he wore the plaid.




I am seriously ticked off.

Dang, EF.  I'd be contacting whoever you could, demanding a refund (or a job w/ the band), and spreading the word.  Unacceptable!!!     I'm surprised this got past Paul McGuiness.

hmmmm... with all due respect - I would not go so far in saying this is a fraud. It may very well be an error. The digital age has allowed for unprecedented amounts of images being taken at events like concerts. It likely got mixed up. Completely unintentional I am sure. Having said that, you should approach them about it - but you won't likely get anywhere with an accusation of fraud. Introduce it as an error on their behalf instead (?)

Anyway, it does suck.  Don't advertise a 'limited edition lithograph' for Chicago when the pic was taken in frickin Atlanta!

I will still likely keep it but I'm still pretty disheartened as I was so excited to have a lasting memory of the show.

However now, might just be a very hot collector's item - yeah, that's how I'll spin it. 

That's awful EF, I don't blame you for being mad   Hopefully this is an honest mistake (Lord knows it wouldn't be the first one that U2.com has made which is a whole other problem), although it still is false advertising which sucks.  They should address this quickly.

Who just fixed it and they need to contact me also because I purchased it too because I was at the Sept. 12, 2009 show and that's why I bought the lithograph for a whopping $100 and I really shouldn't have spent that money on it but I really loved the photo and thinking it was from the show I was at.

I'm rambling cause I'm mad as hell like EdgeFest!

You aren't alone - they screwed up something from my show, but I didn't shell out $100 for it.  For the Charlottesville show, the official show t-shirt has the claw on the wrong side of the stadium (still up at the u2.com store).  I wasn't looking to get the shirt and we barely made it to the show in time to see Muse, so we didn't stop to check out the shirts, but I saw it well after the fact.
