bridlover, I have been to U2 shows dressed as Macphisto and Mirrorball Man.  The trick is to suggest the costume and not dress up completely, for example just a gold jacket and horns. People will get it.

And for the record Uplate said she wouldn't talk to me if I dresses as Mirrorball Man in Philly. . . .  ;)

I'm going to have to agree with Uplate on that one. I love you, but I can't help but think of how ridiculous that Edge guy looked in the GA line in Atlanta.

However, that girl who got on stage in NZ had horns so who knows?

Again, you have to do it as an omage. Not the full costume.

Ok, if I'm being completely honest, when it comes to you-know-who so am I. The Fly it is.

(Although I went to a Hallowe'en party this year as Mrs. Macphisto and my bloke said 'Who's that?' >:( I feel an instructional evening in front of youtube is on order - that or a divorce)

The Fly has cool shades and awesome poses. Bono did an awesome job with MacPhisto but I'm still scared of him so I have to go with the shades.
