« on: February 18, 2010, 02:58:35 PM »
Hey guys!  Since I'm planning on doing a lot of traveling for the next semester, I though I'd find out where the goods are hiding all over the world, so here you go!

- Bono's leather jacket worn during the Joshua Tree Tour, Hard Rock Cafe Cardiff, UK
- Bono's Harley Davidson Chopper, Hard Rock Cafe Madrid, Spain (GUESS WHO'S SEEING THAT IN MARCH!!!)
- Larry's bass drum case from the Joshua Tree Tour, Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas, US
- Larry's Yamaha snare drum used during the live portions of Rattle and Hum signed by the man himself, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Macau, China
- Painted Trabant from Zoo TV, Hard Rock Cafe Dublin, Ireland and Hard Rock Cafe Berlin, Germany (GETTING MY CHECK IN THE BOX IN AT LEAST DUBLIN AS WELL)
- The video confessional from the Zoo TV Tour, Hard Rock Cafe Bali
- The Fly sunglasses from Zoo TV Tour, Hard Rock Cafe Malta
- The Fly suit worn during the Zoo TV Tour, Hard Rock Cafe Yankee Stadium, US
- Bono's Emporio Armani sunglasses, Niagara Falls, US
- Bono's Andre Van Pier shirt worn on stage in the early 2000s, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore
- The Mr. The Edge muscleman shirt from the PopMart Tour, Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas, US

Happy U2 hunting!!!

Great list R and H. I just wanted to say that Hard Rock Atlantic City had a vest worn by Bono in the early days. I remembered it well. It was signed. I took a photo of  it that did not come out too well.  >:( :D

What a fun thread! Are there any other U2 memorabilia items lurking in other places?

Any known U2 stuff at the Hard Rock Cafe in Philly?
I walk past it all the time but have never been inside...it's probably not cool enough to have U2 stuff. :-\

Sadly I dont think there is anything of significance in the Edinburgh Hard Rock...

They have other stuff that's not listed on the site though... they have a pair of Edge Pop-Mart boots that I worshipped and took a picture of in Toronto but they weren't listed. (I can post the pic later when I'm home).

Still worth an ask... anyone else seen anything?

I owe Hard Rock Cafe a lot.  They are the reason I'm into U2 right now.

I was at a Hard Rock Cafe in Tennessee, maybe two years ago.  I had always liked U2, but never really been a huge fan.  So then "Beautiful Day" came on the television and I'm just like 'wow!  I need to listen to more U2!'  So then I listened to more U2 and because of that day at the Hard Rock Cafe...I really got reminded how great U2 is.

Hard Rock Cafe in Manhattan has a handwritten letter from Bono to Sting. It was written from a hotel in Tokyo, don't know the year though. Reading through the whole thing is a little trying, Bono's penmanship is not the neatest, but it is amusing.

I have been to the Yankee Stadium Hard Rock a dozen times and I have NEVER seen the fly suit?!!?  I was there last week and I was looking for anything U2..all I saw was a Zoo TV poster signed by Bono.  Probably the nicest u2 picture/poster I have ever seen though.

I hope you're not planning to eat at all those Hard Rocks. The food ain't all that, and it's overpriced, too.

Hmm --

Bono's Jacket from the Lovetown Tour is at the BB King Museum in Indianola, MS

The machine used to record five songs at Sun Studio is at Sun Studio in Memphis, TN - along with a lot of great pics of the band during the recording sessions - and also the Gold Record trophy is at Sun Studio
