Darn it! (not feeling well, I mean.)  If the Grow to Sew shirts aren't too expensive, I might think about getting one, if they come in a big enough size.  You could have asked Ali, why blue?  I have two EDUN products, the black poem scarf and the tote.  I use the tote practically every day, instead of getting plastic bags at the store.  I'm sure no one has any idea what EDUN is around here, they probably think the fig leaf is a marajuana leaf and that I'm some kind of stoner!

I love how Ali face just lights up and glows when she is around those children!  You can see it so clearly in the photos!

lorijane- I e-mailed Edun and got an answer though it is not an exciting one!  There was absolutely no significance to the blue color mannequins!  They appreciate all the support U2 fans have shown the company too! I just ordered another poem scarf in another color as I wear mine all the time!  I can't wait till the complete fall line is out!

How boring!  At least they could have made something up!  Is the website back up yet?  I  want to go "window shop."  Thanks for asking them!  And enjoy your scarf, they are very nice.  I get complements whenever I wear mine.

Yes, they usually are 60 but they do get marked down after awhile but you have to catch it quick or only XS will be left! I only treat myself once in awhile to the shirts. I wish EDUN would go a bit more lower end so we could all support it and afford to buy the stuff.  There is one with the Africa map on it that I don't see on the website yet that looked cool. I have a few very cool ones. It was a different designer in the beginning so they have a different look to them.

Ali inspires me to make myself the best I can possibly be.  Both inside and out.

Ali has been busy lately!  This is from Ali in Paris last week, I think.  She always looks so good.


SHOP TALK: “This is a T-shirt we made for the World Cup, though I’m not sure the French will be very interested in buying those anymore,” laughed Edun co-founder Ali Hewson who feted the opening of the brand’s pop-up store in Merci on Thursday night.

Along with the brand’s pre-fall collection, on show were jewelry pieces designed by Edun creative director Sharon Wauchob in collaboration with independent charity Made Africa, as well a range of Bidii School Project T-shirts bearing doodles by pupils attending the school.  All proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go to the Kenya school.
