jenn, ornament is proudly on my tree already...this is the year of U2 ornaments for sure!

I kept asking the kids where all the mail was and nobody knew. It's been so crazy around here w/ all the extra Christmas activities that dear hubby was stockpiling the mail - in an apparently undisclosed location!  ;)

FINALLY, yesterday, one of my daughters found it, sorted it, and told me I had what appeared to be Christmas cards addressed just to me - quite odd she thought!  ;)

Like Christmas coming early, with my oldest daughter declaring me "such a nerd" and smiling as I opened each card, I gleefully opened cards from Jen, Jo, Ocean and Claytonsbass! It was the perfect moment of respite in a crazy, baking, wrapping, Christmas logistics day - and just what I needed. LOVED my cards and just like U2 - you all touch my heart and soul and make me SMILE!! Love you guys!

I'm working on my cards for you now. My "creative" ideas will have to wait until next year. I'd rather have the cards postmarked Christmas Eve than after Christmas because now I simply cannot wait to send you a card too.

Oh, and MDMom's card hasn't been mailed yet... that makes four! (I'm sorry, I forgot you were in the exchange.)

They should be mailed either today or Wednesday. Sorry that four of you get late cards.

Uh oh! All the post offices closed at noon, but that was the retail lobby. Dear hubby is running errands and will check the larger post office the next town over in hopes that they will still be accepting mail. 

Chill - no worries. I didn't get my international ones out at all because of the closing at noon. Sorry all!

And, I'm not sure I know if I do have everyone on my list of addresses. I'm not sure of the real names of some of us!  ;)

I got cards from Beli and Jab today!!

Beli - very impressed with the postal service. You mailed it on Monday and I got it on Wednesday, with a holiday in between!

Jab - the picture on the back is perfect!!!

It's been so crazy that I  keep forgetting to come in and post thank yous as I get cards.  Hope I don't forget any one!  I recently got Jab, Lori, Jo, and Jen's.  Thank you all!  I keep all of the cards I get from these exchanges...so thank all of you!

Lori - my oldest had a fit over the snowman Edge ornament.
Jen - love the ornament!  Hubby raised an eyebrow when I put Adam on the tree.  ;)

I got home to a ton of cards tonight.  Thanks to Mdmom, EC, and Beli!!  Lovely cards!  I think I got Georgia's last week too.  Thanks to her too!
