That's silly what songs would you ever feel the need to skip on sd?

I've always loved the Pumpkins...but I agree with some others here, Corgan and the ties to the band should have ceased to exist a long, long time ago.

I think "Adore" is their best album and one of the greatest of that decade.

So Tommy Lee is SP's new drummer? I just heard "Being Beige" and found it an average SP track. Not too bad, a little repetitive,  good to actually understand most of the lyrics.

Probably just for studio recordings. I just noticed today that the part in Soma

"Didn't want to lose you once again
Didn't want to be your friend
Fulfilled a promise made of tin
Crawled back to you"

is the same chord structure as The Miracle:

"We got language so we can’t communicate
Religion so I can love and hate
Music so I can exaggerate my pain, and give it a name"

anyone?

Another new song from the upcoming record "Monuments to an Elegy".
Another letdown for me... The music is really good, but as in the whole Oceania and the new song Being Beige, Billy seems afraid of the microphone. What happened to the grit and the passionate vocals he used to deliver? 90's Billy would have killed it on this tune...

i think 5 songs from the album are available to hear now. I've still only heard BB and i dont remember a note of it. ive read all 4 are alot better and heavier.

They are, but the singing is very bad in each one of them. No grit and no passion.

To be honest, no at all. Same problem as the new tunes, no emotion. For my taste, neither the music was good. I liked just My Love Is Winter and Glissandra.

See I didn't mind it at all, I love Oceania. I don't need every song to go from falsetto to shrill shrieking screams. Oceania was a mature pumpkins album. Some choruses could of been better and catchier but really it was a huge step up from zeitgeist and teargarden
Rank em? Rank em!

2. PI
3. Mcis
4. Adore
5. Oceania
6. Gish
7. Machina
