I had home made Chinese stir-fry today.
Flour coated fried pork striplets (marinated in rice-wine, soy sauce, mixed with garlic, salt and pepper) with a stir fry-stew of Chinese/Napa cabbage, celery, zucchini strips and onions, served with noodles. WOW! Just great!!!
It was the first time I stir fried celery and the first time ever I had Napa cabbage. They are instant favourites for stir-fry with me, and the cabbage is a great salad base, or sandwich topping, as it's like a cross between iceberg-salad, sweet white cabbage, and savoy cabbage, with a delicate non-aggressive flavour. Simply awesome, and healthy too.
