This thread needs a bump!
Yesterday, I was in my room and my second son was in the next room, doing his homework. I could hear him singing quietly under his breath-- as I listened, he was singing MLK.  :)
I know he loves this album. Not sure if it is his favorite but I know he really loves MLK and Hawkmoon.
Just had to share some RnH love!

It's hard to believe that 2013 will see the 25th anniversary of Rattle And Hum.

When I was 17 and immersed in the album I used to think that I would probably still be listening to it as an adult.  I was right.

Whenever I am down, I listen to RnH's version of ISHFWILF and it always revives me.

I know allot of people have said that R&H is rubbish, but it's a great film/album. And it does deserve more love!  :'(

I love the RnH version of ISHFWILF! It is a real pick-me-up! (May have to go watch it!)
(The Soweto version is really cool too.)

The church performance in the film or the live cut from the album?

I like both. Not sure which one Beli was referring to.
Have you seen the Soweto version?
Here is this one for Tutu's birthday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_L_O5LzOUg

but I guess what I was thinking of was Streets w/ Soweto:

Amen Beli :) Any time I channel Dorothy Terrell (which is basically every time I listen to the song) I feel amazing. (I can also do George Pendergrass.......it's weird how I kind of do them both in the same song....... :-[)

Who Framed Roger Rabbit and R.E.M.'s Green are both set to receive 25th anniversary deluxe edition treatment this year.

There is something terribly wrong, if Rattle and Hum doesn't receive the same treatment.

I love that album and that film. I was just thinking yesterday how overdue a RAH remaster is. This is the year to make it happen.
