If you could go back in time and go to any U2 show what would it be?

Zoo TV at the Forum (1992) which I think was the first arena leg.  Amazing.  I saw them again later that year but at Dodger's stadium which is was still incredible but not as great as that one.

September 20th, 2009.  Gillette Stadium ;D

but seriously, I'd have to say the concert in South Bend, Indiana.  The first show in the US after 9/11.
Saying Red Rocks or Point Depot would be too easy :P

U2 360 Live From Wembley 2 on the saturday, quite possibly the finest setlist and rocking performance ever or ZooTV Rotterdam or Washington, even if the latter had a collossal f*** up by Mr Edge on the New Year's Day piano intro, I think they were all pi**ed at that gig, but it's still amazing!

Spoken like one who wasn't huddled around an old radio at midnight at the turn of the decade ... listening to the "Band of the 80s" & wishing with everything they had that they were there in Dublin to share it!  ;)

I've always had to be a little more jaded about the Point since my dad was there and doesn't rank it as his favourite of his concerts!  :D

Elevation - Manchester 1 is my best ever U2 show, not that I've seen many.  To quote Briscoe, it was "bloody brilliant" :)

I would have loved to have seen an early pre Boy LP gig in a pub. The legendary first one in London that only 9 people turned up to. Would love to have been the tenth attendee! I saw Wembley 2 on 360 and Slane 1 (not the DVD one) on the Elevation tour and I can confirm that both were well worth inventing a time machine for!

Was at Slane 1 and this WAS and IS still the best U2 show I've seen or will ever probably see - raw emotion on show, very, very special day !

But show I would like Time Machine to take me to was when they won that talent contest in 1978 to win the CBS records deal that yielded them "U23" - would've liked to be there to agree with judges that this band were INDEED the next best thing !!!  :)
