Meanwhile I'm telling mine, "Stay far away from drummers! All the trouble I've ever be in my whole entire life can be traced directly back to a drummer!"
LMAO!!!! I married a drummer! Then you know exactly what I'm talking about! LOL! Open mouth, insert foot. I'll be over here in the corner.

Awwww..... I can't believe what just happened!!! I was watching the Anatomy of a closet again, and when it got to Larry part my 5 year old who happened to walk into the room squealed "Oh! I love him!" Me: *happy yet surprised* Why? J: *shy smile* ".....cute......" Now that's some damn good parenting! Congratulations Starfish! Now THAT'S an accomplishment!!!!! And monica ... that's a shame, I was a drummer for 7 years ... okay a percussionist. I was a drummer for 5 years myself. It was a blast but, good lawd, the trouble I got into!

I feel Larry's pain today.....I too love to watch "The Beautiful Game" of soccer and yesterday, Larry's beloved Irish national team lost to France because of a very controversial call. The Irish governing body is petitioning FIFA to have the game re-played in Paris. Knowing Larry's passion for soccer, this must be devastating for him and every fan of soccer who strives for a fair game, especially when qualification for the World Cup is on the line.
Let us join in and support the Irish National team in their quest for fairness and I may be opening a pandora's box here, but I am sure there are many, many ladies who would die for the chance to relieve Larry's pain in one way or another!
Thanks for listening! Annie
Awwww....(((((hugs))))) for poor Larry!

Thanks El Jay...you have been so sweet. You sent a nice welcome thread when I first joined. I'm pretty new to this forum thing and I wasn't sure if this was the right community for my Larry/soccer post...if it wasn't, believe me, no harm intended!
Have a great night!

Sorry if my previous post came off mean, anniem. I just don't get sports- but it wasn't personal, and like I said, I'm fairly sure I'm in the minority.

No problem zooey...actually, I was never that spirited either when it came to sports, except when my son played basketball, but I enjoy watching the European players and my grandfather was part-owner of a professional hockey team when I was growing up, so I like hockey, which is somewhat strange because I'm pretty lady-like and was a ballet dancer.
I'm sure Larry is pretty peeved about the soccer match...he is passionate about his football, as most Irish men are.
Anyway, thank you for your post...have a great night!

This cracked me up for some reason! Esp. the part about having kids - you know what having kids does to a man's figure

Good afternoon!
El Jay...my grandfather was a part majority stock owner of the NY Rangers. They have always been owned by a media corporation/stock holders.
I can remember being a little girl and going to the hockey games at Madison Square Garden and bringing my Barbie dolls to play with while the game was going on!
