Bono's "Palestinian Ghandi"

Hi,
Bono has spoken about the failure of the Palestinian people to put forward a "Ghandi" figure to represent their struggle. He may be interested to know that, Abdallah Abu Rahmah; a peacefull activist from the village of Bil'in is going to an Israeli prison for two years for organising protests against the theft of land by the Apartheid wall.
Will he speak up now against this gross injustice or will any of his fans urge him to take a stand?

I can not speak for Bono and without becoming too political.  I think it would be better for Palestine and Israel to be two seperate states.  I don't live in the Middle East and I am only making an educated guess.  But, it seems to me that this might be a better solution than what is going on right now.

Anyway, may peace be with you.

I dont think so.

Many critical analyst have said that the most realistic solution would be a federation of sorts, where Palestine and the territories becomes part of Israel. Though, this calls for a almost reconfiguring of Israel's constitution and recognizing the rights of the Palestinians.

That's not going to happen. Palestinians should not have to become Israelis, they deserve their own state and just as Israel does. The very idea is insulting.
