Who here is a Jim Morrison fan?  Plus fan of The Doors music? & Why?

Just wanted to start a fun thread..on one of the most fastinating frontman and one coolest classic rock groups from late 60's and early 70's. Looking forward to your resonses. Gypsy :)

he was just so charismatic, and it seemed like you where hallucenating while watching him!

The Dorrs would be the band I would travel back in time for!

Thanks DA for such quick response.  Totally agree with on his charisma..his draw and they way he connected to the crowds..I have several DVDs..there is a cool one that is double one..it has Soundstage perfomances and the other is The Tribute To Jim Morrison from 1981(10 years after his death) He left this earth little over 7 months before i was born.(kinda interesting :)) Hopefully this will be cool thread for the Jim Morrison fans and fans of the doors music. ttyl Gypsy

I have seen a trubite band and what I have seen of the original Doors (on DVD obviously  ::)) and they where amazingly accurate! The guy who was Jim danced with me while singing "riders on the storm".  Have you ever visited his grave?

No  :'(...I've seen pictures..but never been to France to see his grave.

*off topic a bit* One of these days...before I leave this world..I'm going to do all kinds of travelin'..to Ireland(Dublin)..Scotland(The Highlands)...France(see Morrison's grave while I'm there)..Aussieland(all the cool things to see there) and Southwest(I've read and researched native american culture for 18 years..).
