Kittyfish says farewell for now

Thanks for asking!  I don't know if EVERYTHING on here will be archived, or if some of it will go away, but I would like to be able to be sure that I can go back and read some of the more thoughtful threads even when they die.  Is that already possible, and if not, could it be?  Even if we just had the function to save it on our computers as an .html file before it was going to expire, that would be fine.

Also, I think it would be cool to have an open field in the profile so we could fill in whatever bio info we wish.

Third, is there a way to show more of the little page numbers.  Sometimes I know I want to go ten pages back, and I have to keep jumping back three pages at at time.
Thanks again!

I think the reason why they've done only 3 pages at a time is to give the forum a 'clean' look rather than showing all the pages. It could also be a strategy the moderators came up with to make you look at all pages thoroughly rather than skipping pages.

That makes sense, Nielsen.  Maybe they could accomplish both objectives if there was a pulldown that shows all the page numbers?

Allow pics in signatures Smiley

Not in a million years. Smiley

Aww Sad

Bigger avatars?  My poor little Edge.  You can barely see his goatee... Sad

On the same subject though, for those of us who do like to dabble in computer art, how about a "Creative" section with art/videos etc?

We're certainly not planning to make everything go away. But I can't promise forever. Smiley

If I did it right, you should see a "Tell Us More" field now.

You should now see more page numbers in busy threads/topics/boards.

Bigger avatars?

You should now be able to upload 90 x 90 avatars. Old size was 65 x 65.

I don't think so. Seems like something we'd have to police way too much, and if you upload them to the forum, then we also have to deal with space and bandwidth issues.

How about a section for reviews and ratings on albums so we can add links to reviews that we find on each album?

You can post reviews of the new album in the News & Rumors section, although I have to think just about every review has already been put there. Smiley
