I definitely vote for the James Joyce Pub, but was wondering if we should pick up our tickets first?  We could either meet at the Science Center and walk over to the pub.  Or everyone can get their ticket whenever and we'll pick a time to meet at the pub.

I agree getting tickets in advance is just one less thing to worry about. I would suggests letting everyone be responsible for getting their own tickets.

You can get tickets online, here is the link

https://www.tickets.marylandsciencecenter.org/public/

I have seen U23D many times and it was never sold out-- I can't figure that one out. . . ;)

James Joyce it is, what time. Maybe meet at 5 or 5:30 eat and then walk over to the Science Center around 7? Showtime is 7:30. I am one of those people who likes to be there early.

I vote 5...I'm always early.  I think I annoy people.

I will meet you in the bar. I might be wearing my Rattle and Humm T shirt. We will find each other.

I think our count is 6? Chime in here folks.

I have NO idea what I'll be wearing.  I can say with certainty that I will be short, chubby and have red hair.  And 4D will be WAY taller than me with (I'm betting) a red coat and a guitar purse.  :D

I am almost continuously late for everything, which my family dubbed "Keli Standard Time."  I used to quote the Sound of Music and say "I am always late for everything, except for every meal" but then I started being late for meals too- so that quote had to go. With that said, I will do my best to make it to the Pub by 5pm!  I have no idea what I will be wearing but I am tallish and a bit pudgy with brown hair that I usually wear pulled back in a clip or with barrettes.

Bummer, you can buy online but you still have to pick up the ticket at Will Call.

Ok here is where I start to get retentive. .  .

Anyone know the parking situation around James Joyce? And can we take the water taxi to the Science cetner? Looks like the pub and the theater are on opposite sides of the harbor. Sorry, I am more familiar with DC than Balt.

I know of one garage on Pratt Street that isn't far from the Science Center.  I have no idea about the water taxis.  But the pub and the theater are less than a mile apart...so I'd just walk it.

I'm home, Daisy Mae (kitty) has been fed, and now I am going to do some sewing and watch TV (because I am too wound-up to sleep!)  I had such a great time meeting everyone that we may need to schedule a get-together before June!  Note for now: Edge, like Martin Luther King as a symbol for Argentina, is not just a symbol for Ireland, but is also a symbol for America.  Sleep on that, and if I am being too loud, or having too much fun for your liking, I suggest you go home and watch U23D on a tiny black-and-white television with mono speakers and no 3D glasses!!!!!   Tehehe!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  Can't wait for June!!

Back in Annapolis. It was so wonderful to meet everyone. Thank you all so much for making today extra special. Will post details for the rest of the forum later. ;)
