U2 in Chicago on Election Night?

Given Barack Obama's fondness for U2, what are the chances that they (or at least Bono & Edge) will be in Chicago on election night?  Tentative plans are for a "small" gathering (of a few hundred thousand people?) at Hutchinson Field/Grant Park, which would likely take place about midnight, Central Time.

I'm not suggesting that they will play anything live, but I'm thinking there's a good chance they'll be there.

Porque' it's not a scene that I can see them being interested in.  There's really nothing to be gained by being there at that time.  If Bono could get 20 minutes of Obama's time later, that is of much more benefit to him.

It's an interesting rumour, but I find it hard to see the benefit of Bono and Edge being there.

Believe it or not, Bono is not political.....

That would hamper his war on poverty

He supported George Bush by observing that he gave 4 times as much $ aid to Africa than Clinton.

He converted Jesse Helm into an Aids Activist.
