Isn't it funny how we will get all excited about listening to a U2 song on the radio that we otherwise might skip if it came up on our ipod?  :)

All Because of You was on RXP. Don't hear that one often on the radio! (I enjoy it)

The most obscure songs I've heard on the radio (not today...just in life. sorry I'm breaking the rules allready) are Seconds and Two Hearts Beat as One. Every other radio friendly song I've heard a million times. Especially New Years Day and Pride. Gawd they play those songs to death. Probably the main reason why I don't listen to commercial radio.

In high school I listened to this particular radio station JUST because they played Two Hearts frequently. Sadly, though, they went out of business in like a year.

With or Without You.  This AM on WFNX in Boston.  Played as #62 on their top 101 FNX songs (should be way higher).  The DJ, Fletcher, did comment on how U2 is the greatest band ever, how the B side of Joshua Tree is the best B side ever and how all U2 and Killers all the time would make for a great playlist.  Now that is a station I would listen to!

Angel of Harlem on 92.9 The Eagle, Lincoln, Nebraska.  Then after the song, the dj talked about the Seattle show, and how they had video from the space station commander (Rep. Gifford's husband, can't remember his name), and how cool that was.  They played the part where Bono asks him what he's thinking about, and the commander says coming home, and then says "tell my wife I love her very much, she knows," or something like that.  Then the dj said, of course, that's a line from Bowie's Space Oddity, and I'm thinking, it is?  I didn't make the connection!

There's a The River in North Carolina as well. Not a unique name.
