Wow, just reading this setlist is like a breath of fresh air after the hitparade of Glastonbury. They found a nice ending to the tour it seems.

Wait, what? 17 of the 19 songs they played at Glastonbury were also played in East Lansing.

In fairness though, at least a few of those were basically the full complement of 'non/debateable-hits' from Glasto- Moment, Stay, Boots, UTEOTW...

Yeah but to have almost exclusively "hits" is the opposite of how I usually listen to U2, or how I usually watch their DVDs.

I wonder why the ASSK video disappeared  ???

Maybe because she was released from house arrest? Bono said this at the SLC concert.  ???

No, but the video everyone is talking about is one filmed after her release with her personally thanking people and asking everyone not to give up on the other oppressed Burmese people.

That was what we saw too.

This was my first U2 concert ever, and what an experience... lining up at 5 AM, waiting in GA for 12 hours, and actually getting on the rail with Bono and Edge only ten feet away. Every concert I go to now is going to be a bit of a disappointment.

Not if you keep doing GA.... :) Even if you're not on the rail, it's good. I was second row from the rail in Denver and it was still great. I was on the rail at E. Lansing too... where were you? I was front and center at Bono's mike.

See now I'm confused. I guess the one I watched in SLC was the same one. But that would had to have happened fast as she was released just right before the show.

Hmmm.... I guess it could be: U2 pushed for her release. She was released....onto the next video/cause? Not sure.

No, ASSK has been released since November/December of 2010, when Scarlet made its first appearance during the Oceania leg of the tour.

She was released sometime last November. That was what prompted Scarlet being played in Auckland instead of MLK....

I was at this show and I have the bootleg. No Acrobat snippet...

This was, btw, one of the best days of my life.
