I'll go with Mofo (one of my favorites) because I refuse to accept that Bono's saying 'been around back, been around front'. I just don't hear it! :(

I hear "little rowboat/little red boat".

It took me forever to figure out it was been around the back, been around the front.

And BTW, it's actually Edge who is singing that.  ;D

That lyric line is sounds more like "been 'round back, been 'round front" to me.

I wonder if that helps at all. I know sometimes...slang, for lack of a better term, doesn't always make sense. (I keep finding that out in my study of Japanese. :D ) So, maybe, if you're expecting all the syllables, I don't think they're there.

I think Numb would be the answer. But I guess if you're really dedicated or obsessed with the song, it wouldn't be that hard...

There are a lot of U2 songs I stilll don't know all the words to. A Sort of Homecoming, Discotheque, A Man and a Woman, Peace On Earth for example.

Actually actually, it's Bono who is singing that, at least on the album version. In the live version, when they were still trying to figure out how much backing they needed, you can hear Edge singing over the pre-recorded distorted Bono version on some bootlegs, and the two sound very different.

Oh, I assumed Edge because he always seemed to be doing it live.

My bad  :D

I have found the Italian part of MS much easier to learn after Bono started singing it. Not sure how good his pronunciation is, but I could make out each syllable.

Ever notice how not one song title on 'Unforgettable Fire' is actually sang in the chorus?

Pride (In the Name of Love)?

Pride is mentioned in the song, as is the "In the Name of Love" part. I would count that considering it wouldn't make any sense to say the entire title.

"Pride" is in the verse not the chorus. The song is known more as "Pride" then it is known as "in the name of love".....just sayin.....

Oh I actually read your post wrong.

Yeah true, wonder if there was a reason they have two different titles of the song.
