Yes, se2 ep1 and ep3 are my faves so far. I love the first and third of season 1 very much too.

I'm certain its been mentioned, but Rome Season 1 is exceptionally good. A friend just leant me the complete boxed set and the cinematography and characters are first rate. In particular, Pullo, Vorenus and Julius Caesar deliver great performances. A shame that it got yanked due to budget cuts or lack of interest after just 2 seasons. Still, some fine acting.

Mad Men is amazing. And they paid the big bucks to finally get a Beatles song, "Tomorrow Never Knows", in the last episode. Beside big $$$ its hard to get a song because they have to like the material and how the song is used. It fit perfectly in the episode, and apparently they are fans of the show.

Only the first two seasons have been aired so far, both with 3 episodes. The last I saw was se2 ep3, that's the epic one.

there is no great tv outside of Modern Family. and this season isn't nearly as great as seasons 1 and 2 sadly.
