there is no great tv outside of Modern Family. and this season isn't nearly as great as seasons 1 and 2 sadly.
I like Modern Family!

But my favorite show on the air is How I Met Your Mother, even though it's not very good- I just love the characters.

Oh, and about shows that are off the air... since I finished watching Arrested Development recently, I've been watching Freaks And Geeks now. Great show. Too bad there's only one season.

Mad Men is amazing. And they paid the big bucks to finally get a Beatles song, "Tomorrow Never Knows", in the last episode. Beside big $$$ its hard to get a song because they have to like the material and how the song is used. It fit perfectly in the episode, and apparently they are fans of the show.
Mad Men has been very high-energy and interesting this season!

Mick Jagger hosting SNL this coming weekend, and he'll perform with both Arcade Fire and Foo Fighters:  http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=728034

I won't be watching, but you might wanna.

Wowsa! THAT I'd love to see!

Should never have turned on the TV late last night. The 25th Anniversary of the R&R Hall of Fame was on Palladia. I'd never seen it before, only Youtube outtakes. Bono cracked me up how he messed up Magnificent. Bruce looks like he's about to push out a foal or have cardiac arrest, but I think that's how he always is. Can't believe he hasn't yet burst a major blood vessel!

SMASH Season Finale tonight! :)

I'd be interested in any other opinions on The Bridge, without spoilers. I still haven't started it, need to get Homeland over with first.

You mean the documentary? The one about suicide and the Golden Gate Bridge or are you talking about something else called The Bridge?

I've been wanting to watch that show.

Just recently watched all the old episodes of The Critic. Brilliant show, like Family Guy but much more clever. And movie-oriented, which I love!

I've been interested in seeing this show too. I liked the episode of The Simpsons with him on it.

Finished watching the DVD of season 1 of Spartacus and also the DVD of the prequel for the show. Spartacus is basically a combo of Gladiator, 300, and soft core porn. If violence and sexuality aren't your things then stay far away, but if you liked Gladiator and 300 and don't mind watching the Xena Princess Warrior lady walk around topless you'd probably enjoy it. Season 2 just finished on Movie Central in North America, should be out on DVD before Christmas.

nothing, because The Walking Dead doesn't start up again until October or something.  :(

...although the first segment of the Rachel Maddow Show is usually pretty dang good when I'm around to see it.  :)

No the Swedish/Danish TV series. Although I would be interested in that documentary as well. Don't know why I'm drawn to such grim subjects.
