The band really needs to get a better official website. U2.com is really subpar . How could they report that its remastered when its not? You would have to figure that they would be credible.....bad job again u2.com

i dont know why they wouldnt remaster this, and remaster the previous 6 releases.

My understanding is that if something was originally recorded digitally, then there's not a whole lot that needs to be done.

According to Neil McCormick, he says it's sonically tweaked, and definitely louder.

I'm sad to hear this. I guess this means that the remasters are finished, considering that everything from AB on up was recorded digitally (so no Zooropa or Pop remasters either). Unless they decide to go back and do RAH then I'm really not sure what's left. Why go through all this trouble and not remaster it at least a little bit? Any cleanup would be better than nothing.

This is why i think they are throwing in Zooropa. I think that the remasters are done.... at least for now.  Im sure in 10 years or so McGuiness will talk the boys into a re- remaster with all new fancy boxes and trinkets  ;)

nah, i'm pretty surprised they remastered the other 6 releases and didn't this one, but i won't believe it's not remastered till it's out.
