Hope you subscribers vote for the lesser done songs like Zooropa, as well as the unreleased songs like Every Breaking Wave!

Every Breaking Wave is not an option. The only unreleased track available for selection is Stingray.

They say the results window will be hidden in the final weeks to build suspense, but I think it's actually so they can fudge the numbers a bit and exclude things like that.

That was the first thing I thought.

I really hope if they do intend to fudge the numbers a bit, it's not to go the other way and include the bigger hits that didn't get voted for like Elevation.

I doubt that they'll fudge it - there's really absolutely no incentive for them to whatsoever since it's only for subscribers who won't care if it doesn't have big hits on it and are unlikely to complain too much if some rareties don't make it simply because they didn't get enough votes.

Stingray falling so far short of the cut is a shame, as it's the closest thing to a studio version we'd ever get!

This is not a wide commercial release, so no need to make it a Glastonbury lookalike without the Achtung tracks.

Seriously, there isn't any point in voting on the NLOTH songs, they're already in a high-quality Rose Bowl CD. I'd ather just get the rarities.

The Rose Bowl wasn't a CD; there's every point in voting for the NLOTH songs (Except Moment or Crazy, I guess) which haven't yet had an official live audio release if you don't like ripping the audio from the DVD.

No Line On The Horizon is now beating CoBL. Colour me pleasantly surprised.

I'm generally surprised at how good the tracklisting looks somehow. A LONG way to go yet, but there are relatively few 'big hits' there and they're generaly the very biggest- Streets, WOWY,  ISHF, One. Meanwhile most of the NLOTH tracks / rareties are either in there or decently close. The only rareties that look nowhere near it are Scarlet, Spanish Eyes, MotD and Your Blue Room.

I would kill for all of those save for Spanish Eyes.

I don't understand why people are voting for the same damn songs we've heard a million times on various concert DVDs and live albums.

A lot of U2 fans seem to like boring and predictable.

I know, it's almost like those terms were subjective!

They are subjective terms.  That's because it was a subjective observation.

I still haven't voted but find it all very interesting. I want rarities but if we don't vote Streets and BD for example, it won't really resemble a true U2 gig. Or is that what fans here want; a collection of live songs that sound great individually, but don't work as a set list? I will have to go for balance so will do without WOWY and Pride but (for Exile's benefit), certainly will vote for I Will Follow because it's still a monster.

I maintain that this is a brilliant idea from u2.com, but what's really irritating me is sitting here and listening to the samples - it's clear every single song has been mixed and mastered, and is ready for release (great quality btw; much better than the rose bowl in both sound and performance). So if the CD ends up filled with loads of songs we have already, not only will we have missed the opportunity to hear great quality live versions of rarities, but said rarities will actually exist out there somewhere, out of reach  :'(

Anyone considered a movement to organise a mass voting for rarities?
