Don't forget Gypsy Biker. That whole album is just perfection.Oh yeah. His best since at least Tunnel of Love, and worthy of mention in the same breath as Tunnel, BITUSA etc if not quite the BTR/Darkness holy grail of perfection for me.

Yeah, the 90's was a pretty mediocre decade for Springsteen.
Very interesting article. Sheds some light on the song, in particular the chorus some have expressed concern about. We may, in fact, have another "Born In The USA" situation on our hands. For the record, I love the song.http://backstreets.com/news.html
My favorite is The Rising. Every track was gold, and I'd be shocked if I ever liked another Bruce album more than it.
Why is everyone so silent about Sprinsteen ripping off New Order's Love Vigilantes? The similarities are too obvious to ignore and too close to be coincidental.Cheers,J

Quote from: Tumbling Dice on January 19, 2012, 01:23:14 PMYeah, the 90's was a pretty mediocre decade for Springsteen.I don't think anyone would disagree, although there are a few diamonds in the rough - the title tracks of all three albums, American Skin, Land of Hope and Dreams, Streets of Philadelphia...
Hmmm... well then I guess I'll have to go listen to some of their music now huh?
