Usually it takes me multiple listens to really get into a song, but not with We Take Care of Our Own. A really good song and a fresh sound  for the Boss. Can't wait for the new album.

Odd that the previously done live songs are on here...makes me think U2 might run the same direction.  Can't wait for the album! Although it is sad it's not really the E Street Band anymore.  :'(

Like the intro, not sold on that chorus at all, seriously Boss?
Love the Prince hand claps.

Odd that the previously done live songs are on here...

Probably worth noting that of the three previously done live songs, one is a bonus track and one is just as a Clarence tribute. The other, Wrecking Ball, was written since his last album and is the title song of the whole record, so it's likely it's been rewritten since the version that was released before.

I'm excited, though the reusing of some songs is kind of odd. I wonder if they recorded a new version of American Land.

This makes me very very very excited  ;D ;D

Surely this will be better than Working on a Dream was.

It would have to go a long way to beat Magic though. I can listen to that one for days on end.

Okay, have now listened to the new single three times and LOVE it. Better than anything on Working On A Dream.

Catchy, brilliant riff, up-tempo, big sonic landscape - REALLY anthemic chorus. Will be a keeper live.

Next paycheck, I am definitely getting it.

I like Magic, it was a really great album.

My favorite is The Rising. Every track was gold, and I'd be shocked if I ever liked another Bruce album more than it.

I'm that way with Born to Run.

The riff of "We Take Care Of Our Own" is a carbon copy of the riff of New Order's "Love Vigilantes" from the 1980's.

And people here still wonder how come U2 never invited Springsteen to open for them.

Cheers,

J

Love the new song, I can't wait! I loved The Land of Hope and Dreams from the '99 tour.

What sense does this make? Springsteen sells out whatever venue he plays. He doesn't back up anybody.

I was just about to post something just like that.
