But one Irish show means possibly only two Springsteen shows instead of three, or- (Horror of horros! O_O) one instead of two!

Damn it! There are only so many body parts that I can sell!

I'm saving up my money now. There's no way I'm missing him in Chicago.

Sorry, Monica! July 17th in the RDS, Dublin, which means almost certainly July 18th as well. Looks to be the end of the European tour!

I can deal. How cool is it going to be to have the end of that leg there? That show will kick so much ass!

...Unfortunately, not the end of the leg either, it now looks like Scandinavia will be afterwards.

This has been announced almost as haphazardly as the U2 2010 dates!

Which reminds me, I've been investigating Springsteen fan forums and have found the following;

1) They hate his manager as a money-grabber who seizes every little chance to wring a bit extra
2) They are already complaining about his new album which we know nothing at all about
3) Many are worried that he has become a greatest hits act
4) They are complaining that he will never reach his past greatness and operates too much in his safety zone

...Basically, all fandoms are the same.  :D ;D

Yep, it would appear so.

It's just too bad it won't really be the E Street Band this time around...no Danny and no Big Man.  :'(

I read a rumor that he may have a horn section this time around, as no one can replace Clarence, and that Clarence's nephew might be part of it.

Also read a rumor that he's opening in the US on March 2 in Denver, then will do Europe in the summer, and return to the US for stadiums in the fall.  I guess all the cool kids open their tour leg in Denver nowadays.

It would make sense that Clarence's nephew join the band. After all, Max's son did.

If they do open in Denver, Katie will never let me hear the end of it! :D

They have added some more, currently the last gig in Europe is Gothenburg on July 27th according to Bruce fansite www.backstreets.com

18 Euro dates so far and more to come, very likely is an extra one in Dublin. Ticket prices are very expensive for Dublin, lowest priced tickets are standing 93 Euro ($ 123) and seated are 102 Euro.($ 135).

I must say, BruceSpringsteen.net makes U2.com look magnificent. It hasn't gotten over half the officially announced dates up yet, and it hasn't even MENTIONED the Italian gigs which are already on pre-sale!

The Boss is doing 2 concerts here in Sweden. Both at The Ullevi arena on July 27, 28.  150 000 fans in two days! I was lucky, me and my friends are going the 27th!  ;D

In case The Boss' return and the holidays make you want to hear his classic "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town," here's the version that is played most on the radio:
