I didn't get a ticket until today actually.  There's a twitter feed I follow that releases a small amount of tickets for upcoming tapings and I've had it up for 3 days straight hoping for a November 30th listing.  A listing for a ticket came up today and I jumped right on it.   And I'll definitely report here afterwards.

I'm going to try my hardest to meet him, and if I do, I'm going to (try and fight through the starstruckness and) tell him that I and everyone else are so excited for their next musical chapter and how that U2 is still relevant.  After all, Bono would be hearing all of this from a 20 year old, that's gotta show him something

Good choice, seriously, to say something general about their relevancy, and being excited for their future They like to see the young people. Dress in your college sweatshirt and stuff. No make-up and stilettos, those will make a gal look older. Ya'know, dress like a teen to be a symbol of the relevancy he wants!

Does anybody know what time guests arrive? Are there special doors? I might try and wait outside the studio.
Last time U2 was on Late Show with David Letterman, I waited outside and was able to meet The Edge, Larry and Adam. Came within 8 feet of Bono. Would love to meet/see him on the 30th!

Well, dressing up in stilettos will give you a better chance of being noticed then, dude 

For those who have an actual shot of going, may I suggest this:

Look up the schedule of past guests online. Say, Celeb X appeared in the Daily show in Oct or early Nov 2011. Go to Celeb X's fan sites/forums and read the meet-and-greet reviews (or even chat with the fans of Celeb X online). They can tell you where and when Celeb X appeared for the taping.

We have a good friend who is a grad student there, so I figured you might go there. He was back home for Thanksgiving and he and his friend dropped by. It just came to mind, that's all. It seems a terrific school and I know he's enjoyed it - especially being close to NYC and all that it has to offer like Daily Show tix at the last minute!  He was very active on the undergrad campus, you might know him.
