Vertigo/Elevation stage, but with a huge ellipse that goes all around the outer edge of the arena.  About mid-way out in GA is a larger B-stage, with ramps coming in to the side from the outer ellipse.  I call it "The Eye"

Actually, I really like that idea. It would work great for small type arenas. It might be a long walk for a larger sized arena though.  :D

that runway's going to have to be pretty high. high enough for people with main floor tickets to walk under it to get onto and off of the floor. gonna lose the best lower bowl seats doing that.

I think they should just play some coffee shops for their next tour  ;)

^   ...or make the stage a coffee shop.  Queensryche did something like that on the '95 tour. They turned the stage into a "smoky jazz lounge" - complete with patrons sitting at tables - for a few songs during the show.

see how it went here:     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xftyNCTT82Y&feature=related

I think it'll be smaller and more intimate. I think they intended 360 as their last mega stadium tour. They're never going to top the scale, so it makes sense to pull it back to an arena tour. Which I'm absolutely fine with.

I still see those umbrella coming into play sometime down the line. it would be a pretty neat idea overall.

they should do a short tour playing harbors, riverfronts and beaches on a floating stage. Sydney, Dublin, Rio, Venice...

The Stones' Rio show was one of the highest attended ever I believe. It could work.

Just make sure you give everyone a life preserver if you're serving alchohol.

An indoor arena tour. Four platforms in all four corners of the arena, each with a walkway leading to a central stage, so the band both surround the audience and are surrounded by them. Bare bones staging with the frequent visual effects. It's more about lightning than huge screens this time around, but maybe there could be a smaller version of the screen from the 360 Tour in the centre of the stage, it'd be cooler if there were screens above the walkways though. 360 meets Elevation.

Brilliant, all four come down the stairs from each corner of the arena.

I expect a Vertigo-esque stage that we'll be disappointed in.

With walkways along the outside connecting the platforms. Then you could add the 360 screen above it. Maybe make the walkways some sort of screen?

That'd be a hard choice between GA and the seats. I'd probably still take GA.
