Is Vertigo Milan an actual concert DVD?
« on: January 06, 2012, 07:02:01 PM »
Is it an actual DVD, or is it just some songs tagged onto U218? What is it?

It's both, actually.
The "special edition" of U218 has 9 or 10 extra tracks with it, all from the 2005 Vertigo Milan show, and the accompanying DVD is the video of said tracks.

It's a DVD that's only available in the special edition of 18 Singles, but it's only about 8 of the songs from that show.

I actually found the whole show online for streaming. It's pretty cool! I think it's actually better than Chicago.

I think it should be called a lower case 'dvd' and not a DVD like Sydney or Mexico City!

during the "build up" to the release of NLOTH...our local cable TV (Comcast) co. had a bunch of "exclusive" U2 programming for free on their On Demand channels...I remember seeing  the Milan show (only time I've seen it anywhere).. as well as the JT July 4 France show which is a DVD from the JT remastered box...

This Milan Vertigo DVD, is  only 2 channel LPCM, not multichannel surround DD/dts, correct ?
