Well, I was tired and clicked AB to Zooropa, but I really meant to click RH to AB. I believe that was their biggest change. AB doesn't sound like anything before it. U2 started changing even during RH. Take a look at God Part II and afterwards, Night and Day. It started there.

I know I'm going to get booed for this (lol) but I like NLOTH more than ATYCLB but less than HTDAAB. Those 3 tracks on NLOTH really bring it down. I mean REALLY. Magnificent and MOS are two of U2's best tracks, but I think overall, HTDAAB is more even, there's no tracks as bad as the "bad 3" on NLOTH.

Yeah, yeah, I'm one of those people that likes HTDAAB. I do agree with most here that ATYCLB is kind of poor outside of BD, Elevation and Kite.

What 3 bad tracks on NLOTH?

If you said Crazy Tonight, Stand Up Comedy, and Boots, I concur.

I agree with Smee. It took me a while to go from R+H, an album which had original tracks on it I really liked, to AB with open arms....except for the more conventional ones like One, Horses, So Cruel and Mysterious Ways(which was different but I liked it right off so).

I liked AB immediately because I was listening to NIN and bands like that at the time.
