Fan reviews of the Paris gig.

They played without brass arrangements.  Could this be the first Stones' tour without a brass section since 1978?

I hope so. I don't mind bringing Bobby Kers for the sax parts, but they've been using too many back ups (singers and players), which I think has been part of the reason why Keef is doing as much; he has people there to cover for him. The Who used a ton of musicians and back up singers on the Tommy reunion tour and it just didn't feel right. They were better when I saw them about 5 years ago without all the back up players/singers.

i THOUGHT I read that there was 1 sax....that was apparently incorrect. They've DEFINITELY not done a tour without brass since '78 or backup vocals since '89

true....I mis-worded it....'89 was the single greatest show/tour I ever saw by ANYBODY

Maybe it will inspire them to release one more album. I like Doom & Gloom and One More Shot. Get it done while those good tracks are fresh in their minds!

I think..a "semi" full scale tour will occur...not quite as many stops, to "smaller areas"....just a guess

I saw Crossfire Hurricane the other night and it was pretty damn good!  8)

It was great seeing all the backstage footage, and it was interesting just observing the crowds (like Madison Square Garden in '72...I miss the days of no cell phones, especially at concerts)

as a huge fan...for "only" about the last last 30 years (lol)..I enjoyed the documentary, which was fairly detailed on the first 20 years...(most of which I knew)..especially the biggest moments, Brians death, Altamont, Mick T. leaving...all in all a pretty good film
