U2:3D release?

(1/6) > >>

BringCitrus:
When this came out in theaters some odd years back, I thought U2 management said there would not be a home release until home theater technology could support it. Well I feel like 3D televisions are everywhere these days (though I don't have one and probably won't for some time), so shouldn't this be seeing a release soon? It's still playing at the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Does anyone know if they have some sort of contract on it?

jw:
Although the technology is there, perhaps it is not considered mainstream enough.  There's probably fewer than 100 3D Blu-ray titles today.  Price is also an obstacle as most 3D movies cost around $35 and rentals options are nearly non-existent.

Yep. I'd give it a few more years. Maybe they'll release it if they release some other concert DVDs on Blu-ray.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just release it as next year's fanclub release.
