This whole thing is an unmitigated disaster. All of my biggest nightmares about U2 are coming true with this move, and any notion of artistic integrity has gone completely out the window.

Until we hear a statement to the contrary from a reliable source, this article is probably going to keep getting dissected by the fans. Fair to say most of us are hoping that the article is false and that U2 haven't chosen to work with Falk, so we're all sort of waiting with "bated breath" until we hear that's not the case.

This angers me, an article I saw on twitter about this topic.  Some joker says, "But what tweenage girl wants to listen to a band their dad listens to?? It’s not about your sound guys, it’s about the perception, and unless you literally turn into 18 year old boys, we just don’t see you being the next 'hot thing'…

Excuse me? WERE Hot? Where will these One Direction dweebs be in 30 years?  Where will they be in 5 years? Nowhere!  U2 don't need to try to become 18 year old boys to be 'hot', they just have to keep doing what they've always been doing.  It blows my mind how anyone can compare legendary icons who have been around for over 30 years to a group of pussies who are here today, but gone tomorrow!!!

No kidding, I'm actually surprised he's not in better shape given how famous he is and the tendency of most frontman to workout so they look good on stage (Keidis is only 3-4 years younger than Bono and look at him). That's not to say he's fat or anything, just that it's clear he's probably not working out as much as he used to....or his metabolism finally caught up with him.
