I like how it's titled "Shady Passover Celebration in the Holy Land," and they mean the kind of shady that applies to his sunglasses.  ::)

I only wish that next time there is a headline it will read  Bono and U2 in the studio wrapping up their next album rather than what vaction destination he is at.

I agree. In fact I couldn't really give a toss where he holidays to. Surely he's had a long enough vacation now anyway?

Bono's note found at Israeli hotel: 'Hope is like a faithful dog'

U2 front man, who paid a surprise visit to Israel earlier this month, leaves a poetic note in the guestbook at Jerusalem's King David Hotel.

Apparently he's quoting a excerpt from a poem called "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Why Jerusalem?" by Yehuda Amichai.

In his note Bono wrote "reading Amichai" although he doesn't make it clear that he's copying Amichai.

Bono must have been reading this book:

Maybe that poem is so well known in Israel that Bono didn't feel the need to say he was quoting it?  But I sure thought it was a Bono poem.  Next well find out that one of Bono's sons actually drew the dog picture!
