the next time they're playing in NJ, instead of playing a Springsteen song, they should do "House We used To Live In" by the Smithereens:    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZz2vLUt1Ek

It would be fine with me if they played full versions of "Night And Day", "Satellite Of Love", "The Saints Are Coming" and "Everlasting Love" in concert - once in a while.
Good choices. Everlasting Love would be great fun as part of an acoustic set.

Dancing Barefoot might also be cool to hear live.

Great song. That would be cool. But I don't know if they even know who they are.

maybe not...but House shares some elements with U2's Twilight, and that's what matters.

I think U2 are much better at covers than many here give them credit for. Maggie's Farm, My Hometown, Satellite of Love, Happiness Is a Warm Gun, Pop Muzik, Neon Lights, even Helter Skelter and All Along the Watchtower are all strong renditions to me.

I'd like to hear them cover more fully some Doors songs, like a full-on Break on Through or Five to One, or a Tragically Hip song, like So Hard Done By or Grace, Too.

Wichita Lineman.

Oooh!! And along that vein, how about Nilsson's Everybody's Talkin'?

I was thinking Cream's White Room, Harrison's/Beatles' While My Guitar Gently Weeps; I also think some Doors would fit them well. Bono has what Jim had. For some pure fun, a Duran Duran cover would be a hoot! Maybe Rio w/ all their model friends on stage or Girls on Film or Hungry Like the Wolf!  ;D
