Sometimes I forget how soulfully Bono can speak and how diamondlike (that's not really it but it's the best word I can come up with to describe what I mean) his insights can be when he's not marketing stuff.

Thanks for reminding me, BalconyTV.   Somewhere in there he's still the same truthsome, poetic soul we heard singing on October.

Thanks so much for sharing. I'd have never found that. Completely spot on he is and I agree I want more of that Bono. So happy we are about to read Bono In Conversation with the book club here. There's more of his insight, succinctness, and poignancy in that too.

This, "And that maybe humility is the eye of the needle that we all have to pass through". Along with the picture and the song made me want to cry.   :'( (so out of character for me)

That's what I was thinking too!  Pumped me up to the start the book, as my copy arrived in the mail today.  8)

Thanks for sharing.  My father in law (Pop) died about a year or so after Bono's dad.  Thankfully it was quick (Pulmonary Embolism) and not from cancer.  I couldn't help having tears in my eyes when watching this video.  When my Pop was sick (brain tumor).  I would sit with him and we would watch a U2 concert.  Yes, he was a fan and his favorite song was Kite. 

I miss you, Pop.  I know.  I will see you again someday.
