Does anyone know if Muse is actually good live?

Haven't seen them (YET), but I've heard that they play incredibly live. However, their stage presence is meh.

They are amazing live! Best band I've seen live, ahead of U2, Coldplay, Foo Fighters etc etc And they do have good stage presence these days, they walk around as much as the songs allow them to

I have been playing Muse nonstop the past 3-4 months.  I'm not sure what clicked in for me, but it's great.  I bought Black Holes and Revelations first and now am going through Origin of Symmetry and Absolution -- everything they have done is unbelievable.  So passionate -- they make Bono look like an emotionless Vulcan.

Finally listened to the NEW MUSE ALBUM!!!! Madness is my favorite song on it, but I also like Panic Station and Explorers. I like their bassist's voice a lot on the two tracks he sings, especially Save Me. I hate Survival though, because it's too cheesy, and Unsustainable really creeps me out (the subject matter, anyway). But other than that, I was pleasantly surprised by the album. I like it.

Has Muse ever named U2 as one of their influences? I see Queen as being a huge influence for one, but there are some U2-esque tracks too. Madness reminds me of Numb and Big Freeze reminds me of Ultraviolet. Also, my dad thinks Matt Bellamy sounds like Bono on some songs. I wouldn't be surprised if he's been influenced by his vocals.

If it makes you feel any better I don't even know if I can get tickets yet. So far the lowest I can find are about $130, and as much as I love Muse, I'm not going spending that much.
