Is Miami Like the Song 'Miami'?

I can't help but wonder, for those who have been there - is the song accurate about the city and its vibe?  I have weighed a decision to visit there at some point, so I was just curious.  I've already been to New York so I don't have to ask about that, but this is obviously more abstract.

The song perfectly describes the city of Miami, yes.

Changing weather, (plastic) surgery, suits & print shirts, cigars, swimming pools, big hair, new suits, pink & blue, car chases, every line actually!

I can't think of any other song by any artist that so perfectly describes a place.

Yeah, New York is great too, but I don't think it nails it quite Like Miami does, that probably because I think the lyrics are better in Miami (my opinion, don't crucify me).
