agreed. I have no interest in seeing pictures of The Edge at his mom's funeral-talk about a violation, or seeing @u2 post news of her passing on facebook-talk about tacky, no interest in getting their autograph, haven't read any of their books or have a u2 collection, I don't care what their kid's names are, where they vacation, criticizing their looks etc. I don't spend all my time on here or other sites talking about them. and I'm not sure why some are saying this thread should be deleted. if you have read and comprehend my posts, it's clear I'm not invading their privacy. perhaps the nasty replies and people making assumptions should be deleted. Interesting hypocracy around here! Slainte

your thread was deleted because of the lack of "point" by most of the posts. there is also a place in this forum where a thread along those lines might be able to stay. in The Band part.

thanks, but I think I'll pass on posting in the band part. some here just want to be nasty and I'm sure they'll post there too. and I have better things to do with my time, just home sick today so I thought I would learn alittle about U2 (apparently not allowed in these parts).

If you want to know who they are (as in Bono, Adam, Larry, and Edge), U2 by U2 is a great place to start.

thanks. I'm not that invested in them to buy a book (some stalker I am!). Just curious, after seeing the Edge's mom died posted everywhere, if he had support, other family, wife, kids etc. Just wanted to know if they had partners, parents, kids. that's all. they seem kind of young to lose their mums, but we're all getting old, time flies-all the more reason to be nice to others.
