Intro from Dublin fan
« on: June 16, 2012, 04:02:16 PM »
Hi all,

I am a long-time reader of this great site and as a proud Dubliner I am a huge U2 fan.
I am going to Electric Burma in Dublin on Monday and hopefully the lads give us a few songs.

I also unfortunately have an inoperable brain tumour and U2's music has been a great comfort to me particularly Walk On and Miracle Drug

That's my intro folks,

Regards
Dave

Welcome Dave! Hope you had a good time at the concert.

U2's music has helped and comforted a lot of people no matter what their situation is, glad to know they have been there for you. :)

I'm not certain whether you've been watching the games or whether you're continuing to visit the forum, but I do hope you're doing well and receiving the best possible news regarding your health, outlook and longevity. Keep as well as you can and I (and no doubt many others) will be praying for your welfare. Warm regards to all others facing difficulties adn bleak news as well. As Warren Zevon said "enjoy every sandwich".
