Why does Larry have 2 setlists at the gigs?

Got a new computer and started watching 1080HD footage of U2 gigs on youtube   8)

Noticing lots of small details at the Glasto concert - Larry has 2 setlists at the side of him but they look very similar. I've seen this before at other gigs. Why do you think he has this ? Is it so they can say to each other e.g. "bono's voice has gone go for setlist #2".... ??

Without having seen what you are talking about...
  • Are you sure that it's not just two of the same setlist?
  • Is one a song setlist and another a technical setlist?

Examples of different setlists below...

Sorry it took me so long to reply !

Here is an example of the 2 setlists that larry has:

This is from Glastonbury 2011 and the 2 setlist look very similar however often the 2 setlists are similar but with a few songs changed... anyone know why ?

I'm just guessing here but it may be in case Bono decides to call an audible or sing a different song. They could switch to the second setlist and add or subtract songs.

I don't know for sure but that seems likely.

They look identical to me and any change in title length as an indicator of difference seems to be just from the angle of the picture.
