In Bullet the Blue Sky, I've always thought he says "So this guy comes up to me."
Recently I was reading lyrics, and I was shocked to read "Suit and tie comes up to me."

Did he change it recently when it's sung live, or I am really crazy?
Where did you read the lyrics? He might have sung it that way live sometimes, but I'm sure the studio version says "So this guy..."

Agree, I think "suit and tie" was just a live variation.

Straight from U2.com
"Suit and tie comes up to me
His face red like a rose on a thorn bush
Like all the colours of a royal flush
And he's peelin' off those dollar bills
(Slappin' 'em down)
One hundred, two hundred."

Then again... that is U2.com...

This website's lyric section says "And this guy comes up to me."

u2.com has the wrong year listed for ATYCLB release, too. It was 2000 not 2001.

Does anyone play QuizUp and play the U2 quiz? There is a questions that asks which line is in Bullet the Blue Sky. The correct answer is "eating a turkey burger." That makes U2.com look good.

Thought the pre-chorus in mercy said "when i was digging the ditches we got into this drug" rather than "two hands to rub" til i searched the actual lyrics online.

did anyone ever work out what bono was singing in the choruses of that song on the 360 tour?

Sweetest Thing, between 2nd chorus and last verse...
There's Bono falsetto that sounds like "Aaaahhh it's a perfect day"? Also Bono spoken words underneath which I can't make out.

The lyrics in the sheet music I have for that song say "Ah, tiny babe" or something like that. Maybe "tiny baby." I think I like "perfect day" better...

Crystal Ballroom: Human toes are what we leave behind.  ???

It's really "the human story is what love leaves behind". Apparently. I never hear that.  ;D
