Oh, she did? Which tour?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBwrX1MingU

This is the only time that I know of.  It was for a telethon raising funds for, I believe, firefighters and police hurt during 9/11. One of the other women is Natalie Imbroglio (sp?), and I never have heard who the third women is, although maybe I heard she might be Morleigh's sister.

She sang on the TOTP performance as well:

Is the third backing singer really a woman?? I always thought it was a guy!

Ya know, I see your point, but I can't imagine those backing vocals being two chicks and a dude.  Unless he's a tenor, I guess.  Always thought it was three women, but I sure could be wrong.

Anybody know who the mysterious third backup singer is?

Just read that some of the Beach Boys' sons are forming a band to sing their dads' lesser known songs.  That should make some of you happy.

Wow, I didn't know any of that- thanks for the information! I love Morleigh.

I had no idea what the song Telephone sounded like so I youtubed it; and I hope to God that Bono never feels the urge again to sing this type of song.

That was my first thought, what a strange type of song for Bono to sing, but then I thought that maybe it was one of Eve's favorite songs.

Cos their both replies have something with the subject of this thread.
If you don't agree with someones opinion or what they say...there are more nice ways to say that then you did.
We all know what is the subject of this thread...all posts are related to it...someone doesn't have to like the subject but doesn't mean that shouldn't post a comment. Threads don't have to have just positive comments. They didn't say anything bad...just expressed their opinio ABOUT the subject  of this thread.
If they said that they are not interested in his personal life...and his daughter belongs to his personal life...they are free to say that.

Everybody can post their opinions in any thread they like...as long as they don't cross a line.
And this is definitely not a case here.

Thank you Trlica.

So, they can call those of us who take an interest in the private lives of the band memebers "creepy" and in their own little way criticize us for it, but we're not allowed to call them out for claiming to "only be here for the music" and still posting on threads about the band's private life?  Hmmm, must have missed that in the forum rules.

Not criticising anyone for a lack of better things to do with their time, and the thread title was indicative of U2 related new music as I've already written, but it didn't pay off in that respect, yet it contained the type of information that prompted me to be concerned...

As for you trying to start a flame war, just stop it while it's cool, please, there were no personal attacks before you came in the thread, and I don't want to turn it into a personal argument.  I'm not here to fight. Are you cool with that?

I like seeing threads about what the band are up to outwith the music. I draw the line when fans start things like Morleigh Love Threads, Ali Love Threads....and especially when they bring the kids into it.
Im still waiting for you to prove that i always involve myself in such threads tho...so....wheres yer proof?

And lets not forget that the first two words of this thread are "Bono records", so i was curious to see what it was about. Had it said Eve celebrates birthday, then i wouldnt have bothered looking!

This is what you think and what you said.

First who are "they"??

Then...you wrote word "creepy"...so this is how you see things. I didn't see that anybody here called someone "creepy"! Those are your words...don't be offended.

You said that "The title of this one clearly states that it is about Bono's personal life, so if you really do only care about their music, why click the link?"
Wrong....the title says "Bono records Lady Gaga duet with Ali - dedicates it to Eve"....I don't see how clearly can be that its about his personal life? First, its about his recording with Lady Gaga...then there is the rest of subject.

And why not to click the link...you can click on any link that you want and make a post or comment...maybe they like "clicking"  ;)

Don't know about anyone else, but I expect someone called bonorules to be much, much cooler than that.

What if you're interested in their families for the person, though? For example, Eve is an actress and Ali has done stuff with fashion, like Edun... and Morleigh is a dancer. So what if you're interested in their work, and they just happen to be married/related to U2 in some way? That's not creepy, is it? That's why I'm interested in the band member's families- because what they do also interests me.

I find it quite unerving, the level some people take it to. I dare say...had Ali, Morleigh, Eve and co, all been doing what they are doing...but werent linked to u2, i suspect  many people wouldnt pay one iota of attention to the people in question.
Where do you draw the line. Theres even fans out there who have threads for Bonos Bodyguard....thats plain OTT sycophantic behaviour. Some people fawn over ANYTHING that has the least possible link to u2. I suspect thats the sort of fan behaviour that Edge himself described as creepy
