I have time here to get more detailed on this - I probably sound like a broken record, but I would definitely choose Zoo TV.  One reason is because I was about 5 years old when Red Rocks happened, so I wouldn't have paid much attention to the music anyway, haha.  I'd LOVE to go back to experience the Zoo shows at the RDS, definitely (though I listened live on the radio - next best thing).  I would've liked to experience at least one Zooropa show and one Outside Broadcast show.  Hell, I'd give my vital organs to go to any of the shows that featured Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car - that's my song, I'd have lost it if I heard this live!  Of course I was going from tween to teen in the Zoo era, so imagine you're a young woman in GA and you're right in front of MacPhisto or The Fly...with a good view of Larry too!  Oh the hotness sure would get you through puberty!

Red Rocks.  I saw ZooTV when I was 14.  It was my first concert.  I too wish that the Achtung Uber Edition would have had a different concert.  Why not the amazing Fox TV special that can be found on YouTube.

out of curiosity, how well do you remember the show? i mean do you remember how he sounded on a specific song or just the experience of going? i only remember bits and pieces of concerts i saw at an early age and i feel had i seen the Zoo TV tour when i was 11 or 12 it would of been wasted since i probably wouldnt remember alot of it, if any.

Actually that's included on the Achtung Baby Anniversary DVDs (found in the Super or Uber Deluxe box sets), under the title 'Zoo TV Special' - That's a major reason I bought the box set in the first place, really.

Although I've always been a Zoo TV fanboy, with my first two concerts being from the tour, I would say Red Rocks.  Zoo TV has a lot of things earlier U2 wasn't capable of yet, but the chance to see U2 as a raw, energetic foursome would be a treat.

If I went back in time, I'd go to the U2 show at the Jacksonville Coliseum during the Unforgettable Fire tour.  To this day, people who went have said that was the best concert ever played at the Coliseum.

I would pick the arena leg of Zoo TV. 

Red Rocks is so legendary and built up in the psyche of U2's history...that to go back in time and revisit it, I would have it so built up in my mind as to how great it would be...that the actual performance (however great it was) would be disappointing.

I remember it very well.  I was behind the stage so I imagine it would have been even better if I had been in the front.  But I am just glad I was able to go.  That concert changed my life!

Absolutely Zoo TV during Zooropa. As long as we're getting all sci-fi/fantasy with the time travel, I would also like for it to be a show where I get to dance with Macphisto, hehe.  ;D
