The Electric Co. in The Runway

"The Runway" is a new Movie, currently on PPV in America, set in Ireland in the 1980's. It's based on a true story of an executive jet airplane that got in trouble on a bad day and the Air Traffic controller set him down on a racecourse because he didn't have enough fuel to make it to Cork Airport. Anyway, the airplane could not take off on the short racecourse track, and the Insurance company decided it was cheaper to build a runway than to write off the airplane.

In the movie version, it's very different. The airplane crashes into a tree carrying contraband and the pilot stays in the town as the locals build a (crappy) runway to help him get airborne.

Anyway, U2's 'The Electric Co' plays almost in its entirety over the opening credits of the movie.
