Didn't matter Dice, drunk, sober, hungover or suicidal, I saw every single game he played at Villa Park and he was never less than exceptional. Awesome footballer.

So Platini's plans for the Euros then? And what of this talk about the Champions League absorbing the Europa League (making it a 64 club tournament!!!)

I think having the Euros across Europe is a stupid idea, it's an anti-fan idea.

Quite like the idea of a 64 club (that sounds brilliantly ludicrous) Champions League though and lets face it the Europa League is a joke.

I'm always sceptical of continental Europeans with big ideas making plans which involve the UK.  It usually involves a dilution of the UK's power.

The Champions League should be made up of teams just that, champions. Therefore just the winners of all the league's in Europe competing. Also know as the old European Cup. Just my opinion.

I'd like Uefa to bring back the three old European trophies that I grew up with - European Cup; Cup Winners Cup; Uefa Cup.
