From The Ground Up - 2012/2013 subscriber package

Is it normal that two gifts ( U22 and From the Ground Up) are so close together? I mean 6 months or less isn't a lot. And I thought I read on this site that the average was twelf to fifteen months.

U22 was announced in October 2011 and the new subscription cycle started then.  The actual package didn't ship until June 2012 because they had to go through the voting process and then manufacture the discs after they got the voting results.

If I understand this correctly, I can renew NOW and get the new gift now even though I'm not due to re-up until May. I don't need the bonus bundle, except for the Zoo audio if I wanted it. I think I'll just go for the $40 package.

Since many still don't have their U22, I'll feel badly if I get the new gift soon. However, last time it shipped out of NJ, or was that Edun stuff?

I don't know if I fall into that trap again, but I'm seriously tempted to renew my subscription. I won't bear everyone talking about From the Ground Up and I be the only one who didn't have it

The bundle makes me wish I hadn't subbed this year for U22 because U22, Zoo TV, and From The Ground Up are included... well time to shamefully shell out $75 to get the Zoo TV tracks (would this count as a you know your obsessed fan if... post as well )

Yep. I also subscribed in May. I just renewed and now I'm getting the new gift and my membership is good through May 2014.
